What's going on?

Hello readers,
Yesterday was the last day of Term 2 and I was glad to spent it wisely!

The whole school went out for Values-In-Action (VIA) Day, where we collected non-perishable canned food from the residents of different HDB blocks. I was grouped with some members to collect the canned food from Block 441. Before taking off to go to the blocks, my class walked from school all the way down to the block and I swear it was exhausting due to the hot sun.

My group went to Block 441 which consisted of 12 levels. To our surprise, most of the residents were either out to buy groceries from the market or were out for work since we started collecting non-perishable canned food at around 8.25am. Even those who were at home, they said that they do not have any non-perishable canned food. Therefore, we only collected 10 canned food from residents who were at home. Collecting canned food only took my group almost half an hour and so we waited at the first level for other groups to be back.

I spent my free period using my phone to listened the song, MAMA by EXO-M since I had CCA combined practice in the afternoon. When the other groups were back, my class walked back to the school and had an early recess at 9.45am till 10.45am. After recess, we spent an hour doing spring cleaning in the classroom. Taking out trashes and cleaning chairs, windows and tables were part of the spring cleaning routine every year in my school.

Once my class was done with spring-cleaning, we played a game which had got to do with the multiplication of the number 7 till we left the classroom at 12.40pm.

Although there isn't much bonding between me and my classmates, I was glad to have worked with them throughout the 5 months. VIA Day is one of the few occasions where you can see the bonding and effort between your classmates. I wished everyone to enjoy your school holidays, though there is still a need to returned to school for CCA or maybe, Student Leadership events. ;-)

To end off the post, here is the class photo of 3/1.
