TV Series Review: Daredevil (Season 1)

Hello readers,
During the Mid-Year Examinations period (which thankfully ended yesterday), I have decided to check out this Marvel's latest Daredevil. This is a television series with 13 episodes and so far I have watched six episodes. The series starred Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, who became blind at the age of nine and since then, he has been using other senses and abilities to help fight crimes and help clients as a lawyer.

I believed everyone remembered the film starring Ben Affleck. People were saying he totally shamed down Daredevil character and the film was awful, according to what I found on Twitter and YouTube. However, characters are characters, I always believe that the script was the cause of the film's failure to show the characters.

On the other hand, Daredevil (this television series) did justice to bring out the characters, especially the titular character. Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock was great, so does the co-stars and the special guest, Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk (the last time I saw him was on Law & Order: Criminal Intent which was showing old episodes). The opening sequence filled with red 'washes' and music was brilliant, well I am a sucker for awesome opening sequence and orchestrated music.

Like what I have expected for first season, Daredevil is a television series with many possibilities and potentials. The series was even renewed for second season which I am pleased to hear but I have to wait for next year.  If you have not looked up on this television series, I recommend you should give a shot! Since Daredevil is on Netflix (if you are living in the United States or whatever) or up on the Internet free television series websites, you may actually start binge watch the series. ;)
